Osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease that takes place in a body when the flexible tissues of that are present at the end of the bones wear down. This wearing down of the protective tissues (cartilage) occurs gradually and over the time it just worsens. The most common symptom of osteoarthritis is joint pain in hands, neck, lower back knees or hips.
