In the world today where everyone is rushing to be at the right place, right time with all the perfection, one usually gets tired and the energy level stoops. The definition of fatigue is tiredness, weariness or lack of energy. You may not necessarily feel this physically but also mentally and emotionally. The term for fatigue in ayurvedic literature is termed as klama. It is the kapha dosha that is primarily responsible and is imbalanced if a person feels fatigued or weary. The usual reason for the feeling of being tired, feeling weak is poor diet. Stress, exhaustion at work or dissatisfaction with the work or life in general is other reasons for a person who generally feels weak or tired. Too much work can cause exhaustion and may also cause body pain, fever, headaches, improper or no diet, etc. which generally feels like fatigue but one can feel better after he relaxes for a while.
There can be various symptoms for fatigue which are listed below:
- Continued tiredness or sleepiness
- Frequent headaches
- Dizziness
- Sore or aching muscles
- Mood swings, such as irritability and apathy
- Impaired hand-to-eye coordination
- Loss of appetite
- Reduced immunity

- Short-term memory issues

- Not feeling refreshed in the morning
- Feeling breathless after minor tasks
- Sluggishness and loss of interest in activities you previously enjoyed
