Baidyanath Shankha Bhasma is an ayurvedic and herbal medicine. It is available in powder form (bhasma) and to be taken orally. Shankha bhasma is manufactured by the Baidyanath. Carminative, appetizer, digestive and effective in hyperacidity, colic pain, flatulence. It is calcium rich preparation. Baidyanath Shankh Bhasma is used for the treatment of digestive disorders. Shankha bhasma is obtained by the process of calcination (heating at high temperature). Baidyanath Shankha Bhasma is used as a carminative (agents expel out gas from the stomach), antacid, digestive stimulant (agents improve digestion), and appetite stimulant (agents improves appetite) agents. It is also indicated for the management of diseases such as liver enlargement, spleen enlargement, acne, and hiccup.

Dosage should be taken as 250 mg – 599 mg two times a day with honey or milk. As directed by the physician.
